In a significant move towards sustainability, Inspiro has signed a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) with NAPOCOR to support the Energy Sector Carbon Sequestration Initiative (ESCSI).
The MOA was signed by NAPOCOR President and CEO Fernando Martin Roxas and Inspiro President & CEO Yuji Hamamoto, with the presence of other key leaders from both organizations – Ryan Laureano, Chief Administrative Officer and General Counsel of Inspiro; May Dizon, Chief Communications and Marketing Officer of Inspiro; and Rosaoro Ortiz, Manager, NAPOCOR. This collaboration marks an important milestone in rehabilitating and preserving the Angat Watershed.
In a show of commitment, Inspiro and Infocom employees have already planted 1,850 seedlings on a designated 1-hectare land. These seedlings include Narra and White Lauan, commonly used for furniture, and the Calumpit Tree and Coffee, which brings added income to the indigenous Dumagat families living around the Angat forest reserve. Inspiro takes pride in being the first BPO provider to support this cause actively. “By partnering with NAPOCOR, we are making a lasting impact on the environment and demonstrating our dedication to creating a sustainable future,” Hamamoto shared.
